The Best Way To Scroll on an iPad Teleprompter
Purchasing a traditional teleprompter can be an expensive investment. One good alternative to a traditional teleprompter is an iPad teleprompter. iPad teleprompters are convenient and easy to use, plus they won’t break the bank. You will, however, need to learn a few things in order to use it correctly, including the best way to scroll on an iPad teleprompter.
Use the Pages App
The most common way to use an iPad teleprompter is with the Pages app on your device. The app comes pre-installed on most Apple devices, but if it’s not on your iPad, you can install it yourself. Here’s how scrolling works within the Pages app.
Enable Presenter Mode
After you’ve opened your selected document in the Pages app on your device, you’ll need to enable Presenter Mode. To do so, press the three-dot icon in the top right corner of your screen and select the Presenter Mode option. Once you’ve selected this setting, the format of your iPad’s screen will change, with the background becoming dark, the font becoming white, and the font size becoming larger. You can further adjust the font size, style, or background color in the settings.
Turn on Automatic Scrolling
Next, you’ll need to turn on automatic scrolling. Once you’ve set up your document in Presenter Mode, press the “Aa” in the top right corner of the screen. There will be an option called “Auto Scroll”; click the toggle next to this to turn it on. Once Auto Scroll is on, you’ll be able to adjust the speed of the scrolling in the settings.
Try a Third-Party App
If you’d prefer not to use Pages, try using a third-party teleprompter app instead. There are several available in your iPad’s app store that offer various features, including the inversion of text on your iPad and scrolling speed that adjusts to the speed at which you speak. Feel free to browse and choose the app that works best for you.
